Yeah, I posted this in the match thread, but I don't care. The more I watch this goal, from the start of this video to the fabulous climax - the more I love it. Already one of my favorite Everton goals. He starts the move, dives forward, displays skill, composure, great positional sense and a super finish. I LOVE the replays here, they capture this great moment perfectly on what was otherwise a dire afternoon for Everton up until that point. He is no world beating striker, but today, he was JUST what Everton needed. He MUST start the next game, he deserves that, no less.

This goal proves he does have skill and ability. Long may this story continue to unfold. Over to you, Oumar......

He's a forward thinking type of player is Tom, top top player and hopefully with more experience he'll be the one driving us forward. The pass on Wednesday was suoerb and today's was fantastic in a pressure situation. Great run though by Oumar so massive credit to him because I've accused him of the little time he had minutes for us as hiding from the ball. No complaints today with those 2 finishes

Aye, Davies needs to be starting next two matches.

He does actual striker things, getting into the box and such. We've been missing that.
As well, it was so good to see a striker who follows the flow of the game from left to right.
So when our Right back or Right Centre Back gets it, he looks to make runs between their LB and LCB.
I know that's a really basic trait but DCL hardly does it (age, still learning) and Rooney likes it to feet when he's played up there.
Just really basic but really effective.

What I love about the second goal is his predatory instinct.....the ball looks as if it has gone over the line but a Bournemouth player beats it out.

Most players would have been looking to the referee shouting "howzat" but Oumar is on it quick as a flash to make darned sure it is a goal
