I now have more understanding of the redshite and their "the FA and the media hate us" paranoia. This will be like last season when refs penalised holding in the penalty area for 2 or 3 games and then promptly forgot about it again. A bit annoying that it's us being penalised, but worse things happen at sea.

The media hate the redshite? o_O

I can't tell if that is a genuine question, so will treat it as one and point out the word "paranoia" in my remark. No, the media do not hate the redshite, and nor do the FA. Listen to the redshite, though, and it only these forces of evil that have stopped them taking their rightful, God-given place at the top of world football.

We all knew that this would be a given because of the publicity. However it does open gates for other decisions to be challenged and how much contact is to be allowed in the future.
Will they only give this ban when a penalty is wrongly given and converted? If it's going to be every blatant dive, then there's going to be a lot of suspensions in that top half of the table.

Since January last year we have

1 Been knocked out of a cup semi final by a goal being allowed to stand after the ball ran out of play

2 Denied a win away at a top 4 side by an equaliser that was TWO yards offside and TWO minutes after injury time

3 Had our top scorer banned for 2 games for " deception" for winning a penalty when there was clear contact on him

And yet there is no anti Everton bias from the authorities, well I'd hate to see it when there is an agenda.

No, I was joking. I saw the word paranoia, don't worry!

Exactly, and this is total BS - Niasse doesn't deserve a 2 game ban!

Hazard, who I think is usually the most “fouled” player in the premier hits the deck every time an opposition players arm comes across him and Sanchez is the same in all areas of the pitch, resulting in numerous pressure inducing free-kicks. That surely now has to be looked at, as the contact is invariably minimal.
That’s all well and good but who are the Panelists on TV who will be crying out for a rich 4 club to have a player suspended?

It just won’t happen and it will die a death when a Kopite or United player inevitably wins the appeal the first time either club is reluctantly sanctioned by the FA.
