It may do but that would properly stamp out diving and would make the additional ban if found to have dived and the ref missed it make sense.

No, it would take one ref to make a mistake and end up getting demoted, to ensure that every dive went unpunished during the course of a game. Why set yourself up when “experts”can decide you were “deceived”.

Agreed. At a minimum Oumar was running when the contact happened while Sanchez had just started moving so laws of physics and all that would say Oumar would have a tougher time keeping balanced

You mean like Rodwell who got a straight red when he wasn't within a foot of Suarez who screamed like a stuck pig and Atkinson believed it ?

What you are conviently ignoring or perhaps not factoring in is that from the penalty Everton equalised and Palace were denied two points.

Utter nonsense the penalty was scored with more than 80 minutes left in the game plenty of time for either side to win they were denied nothing.
