If that Kopite grass stepped into anyone's path then they'll be deflected from their line of pursuit of the ball and the chance will be gone. There was contact and Dann was punished for it by a pen being given. Doesn't matter the strength of the force.

If someone gets done for an affray in the street have the coppers wondered what force the punch thrown was or do they say someone punched someone and their getting cautioned/charged?

You are simulating a moron very well here.

Wow, I thought i was reading RAWK for a minute then.

He won a Pen by diving, now he has to take his medicine.

I am exaggerating to make a point sir of course we will suck it up and move on of course he won't sue . The law is an ass if he deserved the ban and there was consistency across the board I wouldn't mind but they are singling out this case when it's far from the worst example of simulation I've seen. There was a foul challenge he exaggerated it, he didn't even appeal, making him an example when there are numerous others questions his character. Which is more unfair than any ban.

As I say, I disagree, and there will always be arguments on both sides with this kind of decision. For me a grown, professional athlete is not irresistibly forced to the ground because an arm grazes his chest. For me, on balance, a dive.

Even if you think it was a dive then a 2 match ban is a joke when if the ref thinks it is a dive at the time he just gets a yellow. How is this right? Also many worse dives this season than this which didn't get anything.

Boil it all down, and like Dave says, its pure conjecture. On the match thread tons said straight away it looked soft. Ref must have thought, soft, but contact, etc.

This panel then opine that their interpretation was correct. It isnt facts hare, its the absolute opposite.

The Ref has 1 view, at full speed from a bad angle, his instant reaction was Penalty.

After reviewing the video evidence he would have said dive, yellow card.

The ref on the day had more common sense than a panel of people who would overwhelmingly have been influenced by the cacophony of outrage from 'experts' like Shearer, Neville etc etc.

It's a disaster that'll be shelved very quickly.

So why does he get a 2 match ban then? This is the part that is ridiculous. They should say anyone seemed to be diving gets a red then it makes more sense.

Guarantee when and if a big name ever gets charged it gets taken to court and is dropped when big name lawyers pinpoint the inconsistencies across this new panel.
