Awful today, hardly moved, i wondered if he was fit as a few times Sam seemed to be asking him if he was ok an he gave him a thumbs up, but at times he was standing still. Certainly needs to work himself back into the starting 11, shame that ban came when he seemed in form

Think him being played out wide didn't help him mate. One of the reasons he has been good of late is because of his movement through the middle, he runs the line and drags centre-halfs out of position, was wasted today.

When he has come off the bench in the past he has pressed and worked hard to close defenders down. Today he didn't. Sorry to say it about a player who has shown genuinely admirable attributes off the pitch, but he was poor today and rightly substituted at half time.

I know he's become bit of a cult hero and yes he was working off scraps but he showed a lack of quality today.

Think it was down to the tactics Allardyce was playing not letting him do what he's best at: chasing down defenders

Team was clearly instructed to sit deep in our own half, its a shame that this probably wasn't the right game to use him

He will do a job for now and as some say a hero at the moment, but let’s face it - going forward as a club we need to be doing a lot better at striker even though I like the lad and it pains me to say.

He and DCL should never be on the pitch at the same time unless we are taking the game to the opposition. That whole "lob the ball up and hope it sticks" strategy didn't work at all as neither can stand on their own with no support.

He's a terrible player, but I love his attitude and the fact he never treated the club or indeed koeman with anything other than respect. If all our players had his attitude we would have never been down the bottom in the first place. But if they all had his skill level we would be heading for the championship

Is Niasse is made out of a non-stick material? His hold-up play and first touch is guaranteed not to work.

He's done great this season and a top-bloke but he really is not good enough.

He tried as he always does, but was wasted out wide. Even defensively he was a bit of a liability with Gomez attacking down his flank.

He needs to play down the middle.
