Just in an attacking sense. I mean who is our fourth choice striker? A kid from the reserves? Mirallas? The average Championship striker would probably get on our bench.

Why did the move to Palace fall through, it seemed all agreed and ready to go? Did he fail a medical? Did De Boer actually bother to take a look at him and veto it after realising he's rather crap? Or was it over due to them haggling over a fee?

I was very disappointed he didn't move, not just for us but for him. He deserves to have some form a career somewhere and it looked a great deal for everyone. We get most of our money back and he got to stay in England and live in London. Massive shame.

Right now, i don't see the performance of DCL or sandro has being that much better than niasse - of course both have much more potential in the future. But for now given we have europa, I would have a bet that he is playing on the team before Christmas.
