..he has nowhere near the technique of DCL to play the CF role. Even when they both played for the U23s, DCL was of superior quality. If Niasse played CF it means the majority of balls played forward would come straight back. Niasse is somebody who is most effective in the space beyond the back four so he'd probably be better playing off DCL as opposed to replacing him.

He can score great goals - he's fast- he holds the ball well when I have seen him in the under 23s!

Guaranteed he will score on his season debut at some point. I'm as sure of that as anything in my life. It's karma. The lad had suffered more abuse than any Everton player in my memory, and he just keeps on smiling and waiting for his chance.

I have a soft spot for the lid after dealing with the Lukaku's and the Stones' and the Barkley's and their sense of entitlement. We should all be rooting for the Big O and quit trying to prove how boss we are at footie knowledge.
