2017/18 Oumar Niasse

Think people can be a bit harsh on Niasse. He isn't the worst footballer ever as people make out. He scored 4 goals in the PL last season. Granted, not lukaku standard, but still no easy feat. Bare in mind that was in a relegated team and not a top 7 team so less chances will be created.

Also, it was only in the second half of the season. He spent the first half playing at under 23 level (and scoring) which isn't exactly the same standard.

He would have been our third top scorer with that return. Only one behind Barkley (Having played less than half the amount of games)

If he gets a chance I hope he takes it. He has worked hard to get this chance and hasn't run his mouth off. Let's just get behind him.

Well Mike, if I am honest with you I would rather see Omar on the field for us than one of the fellows we were linked with, Troy Deeney :(

At least Omar can shift

I was vehemently against the potential signing of Troy Deeney as you probably know Khal, but I have to concede he is a more competent Premier League player than Niasse.

One day we'll stop imagining players "banging in the winner in front of the kop" because we've done it with about 200 players since it last happened.
It doesn't matter if we do every time from now until the world end for me at least, and hopefully any Everton player. Scoring the winner against your direct city rival should always be an aim. Doesn't matter if they are in the conference and we get them in the fa cup. It's the game because every day you see, speak to and interact with their fans. Most have family and friends even partners who support that lot; it'll never lose its value
