He has been playing and training in the premiership for nearly two years and has probably improved certain areas of his game in that time.

We saw that when playing for Hull he was willing and strong and caused defenders quite a bit of trouble.
It can be very difficult from defenders to play against him because how can they know what he is likely to do when very often he doesn't seem to know himself.

Initially I think his involvement will be in Europe and in the Carabao cup ? and then take it from there.

he wasnt named in the europa league squad was he?

Tbh, I think his PL role is going to be to give players a rest during games where we are relatively comfortable (yes, I remember West Ham) or in the League Cup. Otherwise he will sit on the bench and help out where necessary with the U-23s, as last year.

He's got a skill set and we can use that. He can do a job in the right situation. When we need to play balls out from the back and counter attack he could do well. Other than DCL we have no one who could beat me in a sprint over 40 yards. Ping balls out from the back to relieve pressure and play fetch with him. He can definitely cause a problem. No he's not going to do a mazy dribble through 12 defenders and slot one in the top corner, but every goal counts the same no matter how pretty. People are forgetting how many damned games we have in a week now with the Cup, EL, and PL. You think Rooney is going to play 3x a week for 3 months?

We will go with 10 men thanks and you need to lay off the ale this early

??? We obviously saw different goals.

Watch it again....when he first gets the ball on the wing and passes it in, to me he just kind of swings his leg at it. Winds up being a decent ball, if a bit behind the mid fielder, but think he actually misplaces it, but not a big deal. When he gets it back, his first touch is horrendous. Simply by luck the ball happens to go a distance that draws out Fabianski but doesn't quite allow him to get there. There is no way I will believe that he meant to kick it that far with his first touch.

Or that time Lukaku (I think?) passed it to him and the ball literally hit his heels? Or when he comically mispassed a few times in a different games, again for us?

There was a highlight video of his shocking plays somewhere around here/YouTube, arsed to find it tho.

Its from the 3-1 to the Foxes....hilarious vid. Also not arsed to find it.
