Imagine this place if he ever scores a goal for us. It'll be massive vault-fest with people trying to laugh at everyone who said he was crap just like the time Kone scored a hat-trick.
Interesting to look up how many "top strikers" who have played in the Prem and never scored a hat-trick.

...he's more of an athlete than a footballer. He'll find space in the box and get a goal or he'll run onto something played over the top. He'll struggle joining in with players like Rooney, Klaassen and Sigurdsson. Being polite, apparently this is very evident in training.

He is what he is, a £6m footballer in the current market.

Do you know if he's made any progress in his now 20 months of working with good coaches? Wondering if he can be taught at all since he does seem to be athletic. He seems to be able to avoid being off side alright.

I was surprised to see him do as well as he did at Hull. He still seems very "raw". If you look at the first touch before his goal against the RS or his layoff and then first touch when he got it back before scoring the first at Swansea, he does seem like a quite poor footballer.

??? We obviously saw different goals.

Or that time Lukaku (I think?) passed it to him and the ball literally hit his heels? Or when he comically mispassed a few times in a different games, again for us?

There was a highlight video of his shocking plays somewhere around here/YouTube, arsed to find it tho.

Really raw, but powerful.

He is obviously back in the fold by default but at the end of the day give him a chance. Pooh at passing etc who cares as long as he bags a few goals for us? It will put his value up as well so give him a chance and if he doesn't deliver then he goes in January. Like everyone is saying he is likely to be behind Sandro, rooney and DCL anyway so shouldn't be too much of an issue

..I really don't know if he's improved for being in this country. I don't believe Hull were ever keen on keeping him. I understand he was immediately found out when he started training at FF but he's a professional footballer, so put him in the right place and he might get you a goal.
