How much debt do we have ? Is there an accurate figure ?

Also did we really get a windfall of £53m this year in tv and prize money ?

Finally what is the rough amount of tv money we will get each season and will the club run roughly at a loss or profit each season without including transfers ?

Cheers

Do you want me to wipe your arse as well??

Ballpark figures:

As of a couple of years ago we were bringing in about £50m a year in TV money and another £30m or so in everything else (gate receipts, kitbag deal etc etc) so £80m income.

We were paying out about £60m in wages and £21m 'other operating costs' (Finch Farm etc) and about another £8m a year in loan interest making say £89m expenditure.

So we were making a loss of £8m or so a year that was basically getting funded by selling one valuable player per year on average and hoping the wheeling and dealing kept the team strong. We were spending as much as we could on wages trying to keep the squad sweet.

Since then I feel the wage bill must have come down though you can't see it yet in the published accounts as far as I am aware.

Plus then we have a £20m a year or so increase in the TV money, from this year coiming onwards.

I will be baffled and frustrated if we are still making a loss.

Our actual ongoing level of debt is in the region of £45m

If we now get an extra £20m from tv and in theory are turning a £9m loss per year in to a profit, would it be fair to say that if we sold Fellaini and Baines we'd pretty much wipe out our debt if we didn't reinvest it on the field ?

Depends on how much wages have risen. They are rising every year and will continue to do so. The stunning numbers are in the gate receipts and catering.

And I'm not saying you're suggesting this, but that's exactly why we won't be paying off the debt. Selling Fellaini and Baines and not re-investing in the squad would be catastrophic.

Stunning numbers in gates and catering as they are low ?

Are wages going to be vastly up ? With Moyes, Neville and surely Fellaini going to be off the wage bill soon ?
