not just everton mate, the country as a whole in the 50s & 60s post war knocked down hundreds of black and white elizabethan buildings that we treasure today. There was a story on Radio Merseyside a few months ago about this. When Goodison was renovated many years ago this was thrown in a skip - it is called the old Littlewoods clock. A passing blue saw it and loaded it into his van and it sat in his garden for many years. He approached EFC recently about it as it had been mentioned somewhere, and they have agreed to have it restored and featured somewhere in BMD.
If you know your history...
Only the blues could throw an iconic clock away ... Everton that hope the story is true above .....

there's plenty of space on that fan zone plaza for a few nods to the past, say the odd row of wooden seats from Bullens Rd stand, a set of goal posts from the ground, a section or two of Leitch's panels, a 'brown meat' pie from the 70s etc, you get the driftI hope that clock ends up at BMD....

You know that’s the Bullens and Goodison without having to say it - any Blue would know it. I’ll still miss those god awful seats and views. One of the worst seats I’ve ever had at GP.
Back row Lower Bullens, right down in the St End corner.
