I think soneone like Thomas Frank would have been doable if the new owners were better funded with a clear idea of changing the football side of things, if owners were settling debts and investing where possible to slowly improve the squad.
So far there's no indication that a manager would be backed in anyway.
That leads us to where we are now and the reason we got someone like dyche, which is why we are where we are.
My major issue with Dyche is I believe the players don't believe in him and his tactics.
I firmly expected him to have them fighting 100% in every game and giving them their all on the pitch. I knew he was no tactical genius and plays ugly football. But I did expect more organisation at the back as a minimum.
The worse we are and the more we struggle, the more dyche panics and resorts to route one hoofball, forget the passing through the lines, hoof it up to the big man and hope we find a way to score. He really is that bad.
