Our next manager......

This is true, but it's also true to say that he accepted the Wolves job when they were languishing at the bottom of the table half way through last season.

Good wages and a fat bonus for keeping us up could tempt him!
My first choice is Lapetegui as well. I live in Wolves, a lot of the fans here say he did a good job, he's regarded highly in football. He left cos of false promises and ffp rules affecting wolves. In some games if Wolves were playing bad, he would make maximum subs at the same time.

With 777 taking over our next manager will just probably be an AI program but I doubt they will want spend money on sacking dyche like the current failed regime

I'd get him in today if he'd come, but I doubt he would.

If he left Wolves for the reasons stated he ain't joining us, we're in even worse shape than them.

That’s a load of rubbish imo, yes first half v Fulham we missed a few good chances. Wolves was a lot closer, they also missed a couple of very good chances, Their young striker silva missed a sitter and they scored a goal, Pickford made a great save We definitely didn’t batter wolves, we probably had more half chances than them
The xg was the highest in Premier League history against Fulham without a team scoring a goal. So why your saying it's rubbish we wouldn't have won with a striker is genuinely mystifying.

No need to sack him , just change his role .
With his faux hardman act he could be security on the doors of finch farm.
I’m sure there is always a call for toilet attendants.
There must be something we could task him with where he wouldn’t be as out of his depth as he clearly is being manager of Everton.

The last thing we need is a new manager to try and get rid of all the players we have signed and then replace them with his own on a budget of 0

777 are very into their data/analytics so I think any manager/players will be carefully selected in accordance to whatever job role is being recruited for rather than just go for the old 'PL experience' routine like we normally do. If you look at Genoa going back up into Serie A, their signings over the summer didn't cost loads of money but you can see they have recruited for specific roles in the team to give them the best chance of staying up and so far they seem to be doing ok.

Why are we getting rid of all the players we signed?

This is the squad a "new" manager would be left with in May.

Goalkeepers
Jordan Pickford
João Virgínia

Right Backs
Nathan Patterson
Left Backs
Vitaliy Mykolenko

Centre Backs
James Tarkowski
Michael Keane
Ben Godfrey
Jarrad Branthwaite

Midfield
Amadou Onana
James Garner

Wide Forwards
Dwight McNeil
Lewis Dobbin

Strikers
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Youssef Chermiti
Beto

I think soneone like Thomas Frank would have been doable if the new owners were better funded with a clear idea of changing the football side of things, if owners were settling debts and investing where possible to slowly improve the squad.
So far there's no indication that a manager would be backed in anyway.

That leads us to where we are now and the reason we got someone like dyche, which is why we are where we are.

My major issue with Dyche is I believe the players don't believe in him and his tactics.
I firmly expected him to have them fighting 100% in every game and giving them their all on the pitch. I knew he was no tactical genius and plays ugly football. But I did expect more organisation at the back as a minimum.

The worse we are and the more we struggle, the more dyche panics and resorts to route one hoofball, forget the passing through the lines, hoof it up to the big man and hope we find a way to score. He really is that bad.

I do think that we have a better squad than what we watch on match day. A better manager would have us playing better more successful football. I don't buy into the opinions that we have a shocking squad of players that should be routed to the foot of the table.

No manager worth his salt would take us on even with new owners with a bit of dough/vision. Until we're settled and have a half decent squad we're stuck with Dyche or managers trying to get back into the game.
