He equalled DCL's best ever goalscoring tally (16).

They would have been fine even if they stuck with him. We went 14 without a win, 8 point deduction and stayed up at a canter.

As per the original point, because they had money to attract a quality operator and a squad with talented, technical players.
I really don’t no what to say if you think palace is a bigger pull than Everton. For a start glasner is on less than dyche I also guarantee we pay bigger wages to players.
Interesting Textor wanting glasner at Lyon and then had a big say it getting him to palace and he would come to Everton next summer at not a second thought

That’s utter nonsense, palace are a small club and a selling club, while they’ve been in the premier league for quite a while now, 10yrs at a guess, they’re just a team who’s happy to be there, how many times have they been in the top 10? We played palace 4 times last year 2wins 2 draws
Palace average about spending 20mil a season over the last 7/8 years
Ok... no one mentioned club size. We're bigger than Newcastle too, they're still going to be shopping in a better pool of manager for their next one than us because of finances and upward mobility.

Palace, at this moment in time, are a better proposition for managers because they have the chance to move forward. We are weighed down by PSR, have constant threats of point deductions and have an owner who isn't putting money in and only wants to sell to fellow lunatics. Believe it or not, that's not an enticing project for quality managers.

Just told you on another post, dyche gets paid more than glasner and we pay more wages in players and if Textor buys us he may go for glasner, who he wanted at Lyon and he’d come to Everton without a second thought

It's truly shocking how overpaid players and managers are at Everton, almost entered RSA mode. West Ham with Lopetegui as well much cheaper than Dyche, and these are 2 former EL winners. English tax I guess.

The two original sources for Dyche's wages are The Sun and Football Insider. Sorry but I'm not believing that.

As for the wages on players, yes we do. It's also why we're constantly in PSR struggles and are attemtping to lower that amount every year.

Couple of different options:

Gary O’Neill - if we must go British then he’s done a decent job at Bournemouth and has Wolves playing far better football than us.

If we really want to take a gamble that could turn out brilliant, or equally fail miserably.....Cesc Fabregas.

Football fancast seem to be more reliable than those two. They also state those figures. Don't know for certain how reliable they are though

Not sure where the original source came from but it was in several publications...

Sean Dyche was set to be sacked at Everton and replaced by Ralf Rangnick before Dan Friedkin’s takeover collapsed, according to Alan Nixon.

The journalist reported via his Patreon on 25 August that the American wanted the former Manchester United manager to come in for a “football supremo” role behind the scenes at Goodison Park, similar to what he had done for the Red Bull group before his time at Old Trafford.
