Any manager we bring in has to work with nothing financially and the nothing's in our squad.
That is short term thinking , their will be new owners soon with the promise of investment.

This squad should be nowhere bottom of the table, Palace had a far worse squad than this and were in free fall til Glasner came in. This situation esp with Dyche cannot go on any longer or the inevitable will happen.

how we do when new owners will come?

how do we know what they will do?

it’s all ifs and buts but not the “now”

They were five points clear when he came in, eight after his first game in charge. Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell, Munoz, Wharton, Eze, Olise, Mateta are all better than our equivalents (Branthwaite's looked better but played one season). They're squad also doesn't fall off an absolute cliff if someone's injured like ours does.

Interesting Mateta only came alive after Glasner came in.
But the point remains they were in free fall til Hodgson was replaced.
New manager , new ethos , new tactics worked wonders.

He equalled DCL's best ever goalscoring tally (16).

They would have been fine even if they stuck with him. We went 14 without a win, 8 point deduction and stayed up at a canter.

As per the original point, because they had money to attract a quality operator and a squad with talented, technical players.

Mateta done well once Glasner came in.

If memory serves me right they won 3 in 18 and pummeled down the league.

Dyche is on a larger salary than Glasner
( even rumours he gets a big bonus to keep us up ).

Their squads aren't / weren't comparible to ours at all. They also had the money to move managers on and attract quality replacements with the promise of investment.

That’s utter nonsense, palace are a small club and a selling club, while they’ve been in the premier league for quite a while now, 10yrs at a guess, they’re just a team who’s happy to be there, how many times have they been in the top 10? We played palace 4 times last year 2wins 2 draws
Palace average about spending 20mil a season over the last 7/8 years
