Our Players Are Supposed to be Prem Level FFS

Who though?
Definitely not Coleman - all of the managers raved about him.
Gomes? Pickford? DCL? Keane?

There genuinely aren't enough players that have constantly featured throughout this terrible era to pin it on a rotten core of players. We've cleared out the crap, and brought in the crap.

Very poor of him not to name names as prompted. Just tabloidy gossip from the Mail.

Looking from the outside in, this sort of article has been released in the recent past, when the club are preparing the ground to get rid of a manager.

Little puff pieces, saying how things aren`t right in the dressing room, how some of the players aren`t happy with the manager etc.

I`m not saying that this is the case here, but if we get a few more of these in a similar vein, it would certainly add weight to it.

About half of the squad has been relegated before and most of the rest of them have spent their entire career at this level with us and so just about avoiding relegation. The manager has been relegated aswell. We're not underachieving and this isn't just going to all go away in the now or in the summer people need to get to grips that this is the level we're at and its not changing soon.

I can quite confidently say that NONE of McNeil, Harrison, Godfrey, Keane, Mykolenko, Beto, Young or Coleman would be regulars at ANY other Premier League team, yet four of them have been playing 90 minutes for every game this year until recently.

The money wasted on just that gang... roughly £25m a year. Utterly disgraceful.

You could get alternatives from the Championship (Leif Davis, Ipswich left back with 16 assists this season, Jack Clarke, Sunderland left winger 15 goals in 34 games) or even League Two (Macaulay Langstaff from Notts County, 24 goals in 41 games) that would do a better job on 25-50% of the salary.

It's not just the inability and lack of quality, it's a general loser's mentality that has plagued the club for decades, yet we continue bringing in such players and giving them contracts for half a decade.

This is a big part of why we've been bummed for 6 points already and why another 4-6 points are incoming next week.

Disgusting.

Jack Harrison played an average of 36 games for leeds the in three seasons they were in the Premier league , young started around 15 games at decent aston villa (no way advocating more ashley young) but to say mcneil or mykolenko wouldn't be a regular for at least a mid tier or lower non relegation squad is absurd , yeah the team has major flaws and duds amongst it but I don't think the squad is putrid as you portray them as

People always go very over the top with these things none of the regulars are in over their heads at this level but most of them are in exactly the position you'd expect them to be struggling near the bottom.

Poor to average (at best)….

Board (when there was one)
DoF(s)
Manager
Players…

Every level at our club has failed - even the younger age groups.

Chance of us losing Myko soon too. Ukrainian mobilisation age has this week been agreed to be lowered from 27 to 25.

Myko is 25 next month.

Kinda puts some of our “worries” into perspective.

Erm yeah, I don’t think we’re going to be losing him lol

Erm, dont be an idiot/troll - have a day off. I said “chance”. And there is a chance he, like thousands may be called up. Zinchencko this week said “if he is called up, he will go and fight”. Get a clue lad.

Zinchecko for Arsenal is 27 and wasn't even considered for service since I believe Ukraine perceives their professional world athletes as ambassadors in a sense so why would they conspript that very visible figure and put him on the front line? I think mykolenko is safe
