Panorama to question ownership of Everton

That. Ownership is scrutinised and so is sponsorship deals. If anything was amiss the PL would have taken action by now and not waited until Panorama told them.

Even the main focus of the programme with all be legal activity by people. Just in the same way big companies incorporate elsewhere and opporate in the UK and pay next to no tax.

The PL and indeed the FA would only have been able to base their judgments on what they had in front of them. The inference is that the documents the BBC now have in their possession wasn’t submitted.
Sponsorship deals are an interesting one for they aren’t scrutinised In advance. I can’t find any regulation or indeed comment on such agreements save certain goods such as cigarettes are banned by virtue of national law or sporting bodies regulations.

Clubs have to apply to the FA to obtain a license to play in UEFA completions but and here a big but you don’t go past the first stage of that process namely you don’t qualify nothing happens to that application.
What that means is that Everton play in UEFA completion( I know that’s open to debate) so everything is now being monitored , looked at and evaluated and that will include the FF sponsorship deal.
I am surprised so many are dismissing this and yes their may not be anything in it but FA rules and indeed their regulatory department anrent renowned for taking immediate action indeed if you look back to Leeds Utd and Ceelino it took 8 months to take action when the conviction he had in Italy and which immediatelyy dis barred him from being a director at an English football club was in the public domain and not disputed

I think people expecting this show to be about us will be let down, I reckon they'll spend all of 10 mins max looking at how Usmanov has managed to legally invest by the back door.

Maybe expect tighter restrictions following this?

If there is an audit trail in terms of money invested by Usmanov in Everton then there is a problem for the regulations are already in place.

Because on paper they looked like genius decisions, he poached the best talent scout in the Prem and a highly regarded manager whose stock at the time was sky high, no matter what it looks like now, that is what it was at the time, no way we get those two if it was down to Bill.

Moshiri has done his best, that is all I see from the fella, and he did not hesitate for a second to sack Martinez when it went tits up, and the same with Koeman when he saw the stadium empty in record time against Arsenal.

Moshiri has been badly let down by the people he employed to take this club forward.
Exactly. He has done what he deemed the best decisions. It will come good in the end. Moshiri couldn't just clear kenright and co out immediately. He needed people for a while who knew the business and club inside out. He knows bill and Bob are rubbish. Bobs on his last chance as it is already..

Haha, just shows you the hypocrisy and cowardice of the BBC, the fact that you have to pay for it is another story, and I suppose another thread haha, hopefully this forces usmanov out of Everton and Everton sort themselves out

It is another story, you're right, but you have to pay for it one way or the other...either through a fee or by putting up with continuous interfering adverts, like Sky and the commercial channels.TV in the UK is actually quite good compared with the rest of the world....we make good programmes, but the 'politics' at the beeb in my opinion is a hindrance.
Back on topic...why would you want one of the worlds richest men 'out of Everton'? His money could be the springboard to the future.

Of course there's an audit trail of Usmanovs cash ending up at Everton, as he paid Moshiri for his stake in Arsenal and he in turn used that cash to buy his stake in Everton. It's a complete non story.

Unless panorama have a scoop about some facts that FA missed...

In the Times today there was a small article concerning Russians laundering their money through the UK. This could in part be the reason for the programme.

most media out lets and sports reporters who are slightly in the know, aka jim white, have always since day one, said that massive change will happen at Everton. ive heard numerous times that us fans should be really excited for whats instore for us. almost like they knew that really its usmanov behind our purchase. obviously, no journo can actually quote this, as it would go against the premier league rules, but thinking on about it, moshiri has never had the funds needed to compete at top 4 level, and that's what the journos were reporting, that we would be aiming to break into the top 4.

the ONLY way we could compete realistically is if Usmanov was controlling us.

I'm hoping this might kickstart that process.

Moshiri has come in to clean us up, get the debt gone, and now Usmanov will come in and buy the 51% of shares left and re-form his partnership with moshiri.

You mean the FA force him to sell his Arsenal shares, good one if it happened but would he come to us.

does Usmanov own any other football club around the world??

is this Moshiri and Usmanovs first ever time in actual control of a club ??

they had ZERO say at Arsenal.

Here the mosh has final say, and if as believed Usmanov is behind it all , then is it his first time running a football club?

As long as it is the Blue half of Merseyside.
