Panorama to question ownership of Everton

Moshiri's response, "Have you seen a psychiatrist?". He knows he is clean. He is probably one of the world's best at cooking the books of a certain Russian billionaire.
This is more about image, even the Queen is getting mud on her. Will this change things? Maybe the offshore loophole will be closed, but you know the old saying, one door closes and another opens.

Not sure if you are being ironic if I am honest.

Just establishing some sort of sequence of events to show Usmanov must be in fortune forecasting to see the possibility of a dock stadium when Moshiri took control of Everton and how was he aware of any connection to Liverpol Waters - horse and cart mate.

As I said are you suggesting Usmanov also secretly owns the Liver Building and what of the Queen Panorama implicated her in wrong doings.

That's what I said above: there CAN be a difference between having an explanation for being seen as a discrete separation and something being so obviously connected.

I'd also say that if there's a political motive for going after someone then it'd make little difference. 'Reasonable' explanation would be trumped by the court of public opinion.

We'll see how this one goes. But I dont agree with the Pollyanna conclusion that it's all hot air and nothing to see here. There is if the will is there to make more of the (clear) links.

The links between Moshiri and Usmanov are so obvious that it's hard to see a situation where they havn't made very sure that those links don't break the rules.

I understand why you're questioning the situation ( because you don't want the whole thing to go pear shaped and put the club's position in jeapordy ), and it's actually good that the situation isn't just ignored, but you do run the risk of looking like someone who actually wants Moshiri to fail.

I tend to agree mate, always have thought they are acting like a partnership and increasing exposure to the PL. I also think that exposure is secondary to the Liverpool water ways project which I bet they both will be heavily be involved in the development of.

I don’t think he will ever “come” to Everton. It’s better to have financially to have 33% exposure in Arsenal and a majority stake in Everton then it is just to own Everton.

As for Panorama it’s a damp squib really, no smoking gun and while they suggest an awful lot, they have no proof and I can’t see any rule that has been broken.

It’s suggestive without being objective and their use of language indicates that.
I think the Panorama episode can be dangerous of this gets political against Usmanov. He's in Putin's orbit and maybe that exposes him to scrutiny like this.

I disagree it was a damp squib. They lay bear the unconvincing explanation regarding the gift to Moshiri and the links between Bridgewater and him. No doubt the Russian feller on our board is the continued link to Bridgewater.

Not sure public opinion is remotely arsed mate.

Any transaction involving Moshiri, EFC, USM, Usnamov would have been cleared via their lawyers miles before anything actually happened. There would have been informal talks with the FA/PL prior to anything as well. (My opinion). The end game for Usnamov is way too big to be knackered by footie regulations.
You could be right. Maybe this goes away. Maybe not.

Perhaps he is just keeping a weather eye on Usmanov's investment?

My stance on Moshiri is singular: get a stadium built but dont load us with unsustainable debt when you do it.

I know there's no clean hands businessmen out there.

I was arsed.
Having watched that, I'm not arsed.
These lids operate in a different planet.
Kenwright does not though. That's my only concern.
He probably has a separate account named ' Jenny, don't look in here it's well on top love '
