Interesting fact about Tom Cruise and South Park... The episode where they mocked Scientology and heavy implied that Cruise swung the other way by insisting that 'come out of the closet'...

At the time, Cruise was busy filming the 3rd MI flm and the very next day after that episode aired, he spat his dummy out and went staight to the higher-ups at Paramount Pictures, who had contracted him to make the film, and who also owned Comedy Central, the network that produces South Park, and DEMANDED that the episode be pulled immediately or else he'll pull out of the MI movie!

At that point, they were well into making the MI movie... 10's of millions of dollars already spent.... And their response: We're not doing that Tommy Boy. Pull out if you want to. We'll just kill off your character Ethan Hunt and re-write the script for a new agent to take your place. 🤣

Fight anything you like, but the truth will overwhelm you. I wonder if the Billion dollar deal to sell the south park back catalogue had any bearing...
