Paulo Fonseca

His sides play good football. He's beaten Roma and Manchester City in the Champions league, impressively too if you watched those games. Built a Braga side up too.

He broke the Kyiv 'reign' on the Ukrainian league - winning Shakhtar's first league in three years. Also won a treble which is impressive when you're kicked out of your home ground and city due to a war.

Potential? Maybe but he's a better choice than what's out there and a million times better than what we already have.

Anyone who debates him being better than Allardyce - is an idiot.
Thanks - good response and helpful. I do think however vs Allardyce that at least BFS is a known quantity - and largely being done a disservice after getting us out of a big hole and making good signings in Walcott and Tosun

There is risk with Fonseca as he is still very much unproven - but that said ecouraging to hear your insights

As it's been noted by many, he hasn't really dug us out of as big a hole as people think.

The football is garbage and he's an odious human being. Embarrassing to even say in the future that he will be an Ex-Everton manager.

Yes he is indeed a known quantity. If you give him a remit with any sort of pressure to achieve something decent, then he wont have the answers and he will flop.
