I hope that whoever comes in to replace FS that he's in the stands for the last game where we smash the Hammers again & he takes the credit for it!
Guarantee that would be the one remaining game Allardyce would have been up for if there was still a chance we could send the Hammers down. Not looking likely now but they have got a very difficult run in so fingers crossed.

..I adsolutely agree. Benitez would’ve been as close as you can get to guaranteeing safety, plus he’s in a different league when it comes to organisation and strategy.
Just playing devils advocate, a lot on here use Hull's relegation as a major reason not to give the job to Silva. Raffa took a much bigger club, Newcastle, down under similar circumstances with arguably much better players at his disposal. What's the difference.

Not suggesting for a minute Silva should be our next manager by the way.

Let’s show some class lads, we don’t touch that arrogant, fat, slug of a man Benitez.

He’s shown so much disrespect for this great club.

He’s an utter scum bag who plays the reds fans off every year with his antics - they’re too stupid to realize it.

Rather stick with Sam than have that idiot anywhere near our club.
You were doing so well until the last line.;)

They sung his name numerous times when they beat Newcastle the other week. They haven’t turned on him at all.

They’re all dying to give him the job if the ‘unthinkable’ happens and Klopp leaves.
Surely not before the Black Prince rises to the throne?

He's a top manager in the U18 league don't you know? Practically reinventing youth footy so I am told.

Our managers have been terrible choices but you could at least include the trophies they’ve won before drawing this comparison.

Mourinho tree up both those trophies at Inter. Winning about 3 games with the best team in Europe for 2 trophies isn’t a great achievement. The only trophy worthy of respect there is the Coppa Italia, but given the resources he had at Napoli in what was effectively a 2 team league should he not have won more?
No - Napoli were not good enough

He was truly awful at Inter but taking over the triple winning team who adored Mourinho was akin to Moyes taking over from Ferguson.

..I agree about Silva, Fred. I am quite close to the first team set up at Hull and Silva did fantastic to give them a chance of escaping. I suppose it’s what happened to Watford after a positive start that gives people reservations about his worth.

I’ll be honest, I don’t really have a clue about who our next boss should be. Saying that, I would like somebody with a record of building (and not inheriting) a good team. Somebody with a good track record of bringing players in that fit a team strategy. Be good if folk on here know a manager who fits that criteria, it’ll be even better if Moshiri does.

I want the next Pochetino or Mourhino, somebody out of left field who will come in and turn us into a football team. trophies, league placings and European competition would be sublime, but simply being a football team would suffice fo now.

I am an advocate of Slaviša Jokanović, what he has done at Fulham is defiantly worth noting.

I'm not sure if I'm able to handle another manager with a similar style to Martinez.

Pass pass pass and more passes just to make us look good with possession %.

Having said that, I must admit I know nothing about him.

Hopefully it would be passing forward with loads of movement as robertos passing was sideways with zero intensity and no movement after the first season. If it was robertos first season with wing backs up and down and big pressing great. Really dont know why he changes from preseason 2nd season here. It was his downfall.

You need intensity at everton and esp goodison to survive. Managers need to understand that. Look at liverpools work rate and intensity. Forgot their ability on the ball. Can we match their intensity off it. No as in we are a million miles of it with our slow game.
