That's deeply worrying. It's the kind of thing that wouldn't occur if we had a proper D0F/Sporting Director in the role.

I can't stand Allardyce and I'm more worried about the mess he'll leave the next man than I am about the hoofball.

What's more worrying is that O'Neil's name is in there. At least I understand what the other two offer. Allardyce almost guarantees safety and he's got years of prem experience. Fonseca looks to be the exciting up and comer but with that comes uncertainty. What does O'Neil offer?
