If it is Eddie Howe, then would we not all fall in politely behind him, clap him, and the make our minds up later? Who knows what he might do with a lot more money than Bournemouth ever gets? Almost certainly a better style and it would take him 2 or 3 years to sort it out as it would whoever we get. I am not saying I want him, but I would not oppose it. Not that is matters a fck what I think.

I have many reservations about Howe , the fact his family couldn't settle up north and he ended up jibbing Burnley off. His teams are defensively suspect, and let's face it we've been there before. I think his record is over egged slightly in regards to his spending he has had money to spend. I suspect he is in the place he is most suited to and happiest at in Bournemouth.
But I do like the way he sets his sides up to attack .
Certainly if we did appoint him I would have no trouble supporting him.
I'd like someone better though.

I dont think is record is over egged at all. Hes a good manager, hes taken bournemouth from the brink of relegation in league 2 to the premier league. Which is virtually unheard of in modern day football. I like him. He may or not be good enough to take us on to the next level. But you never know until you try. He would be better than Allardyce for sure. I also think hes a better option than Dyche, not having a relegation on his CV. I do look at his career with interest to see how he gets on. Hes one of the better british coaches around
