I have mentioned him before but to no general approval. He knows the league and the North West of England and settled here just fine. Got City over the line and the city fans I know still like him and the job he did. I think he would be a safer option than most.No new kid on the block managers,we need a proven manager like Roberto Mancini.
Hmmmm. Would he get results is the only thing that matters in short term. Long term you’d think he would. I reckon Marco Silva gets us, he’s such a tinkerWould he ‘get’ us though?

Aren’t we talking about Bournemouth though?!Honestly mate, im not seeing a club that bought promotion.

if "us" is the club, I don't get us at the moment!Would he ‘get’ us though?
'Getting us' is overrated. See Martinez.Would he ‘get’ us though?

I don't think he is in the running though, so not worth wasting time on debating him unless you know something we don't?
I think that anger is a vital part of a decent manager, but the more you use it or let it out, the less impact it has, and eventually you become a figure of fun. Unless, the subject of the anger is then penalised somehow like how Fergie did, it's not so effective, and even then you are shooting yourself in the foot a lot - like when he got rid of Beckham, Stam, etc.I have my doubts of whether he is a good manager, he's too much of a hot head for me, but that could result in the players actually knowing their place, which is what we need. A boss who makes them know he's boss.
What you describe is just what a good teacher must have. Exactly right - overused and it just becomes a figure of fun.I think that anger is a vital part of a decent manager, but the more you use it or let it out, the less impact it has, and eventually you become a figure of fun. Better to know that the manager has it in him, and never have to see it.
Anyway, Fonseca, when's he going to be announced?
He's not doing any wonders at Zenit. Since he's been sacked by City, his career gone downhill. No new kid on the block managers,we need a proven manager like Roberto Mancini.
