I dont think is record is over egged at all. Hes a good manager, hes taken bournemouth from the brink of relegation in league 2 to the premier league. Which is virtually unheard of in modern day football. I like him. He may or not be good enough to take us on to the next level. But you never know until you try. He would be better than Allardyce for sure. I also think hes a better option than Dyche, not having a relegation on his CV. I do look at his career with interest to see how he gets on. Hes one of the better british coaches around
It's not hard to be one of the better British coaches though.

Swansea did it, Southampton did it, Man City where close to it. Sunderland will probably do it

Swansea didn't do it with one manager, they had several. Southampton and Man City had been in the top flight for decades before their brief collapses and subsequent re-establishment.

Bournemouth had NEVER been in the top flight before. Howe has taken them from the bottom to the top, it's like something from champ manager mate and not an achievement to be understated.

Be arsed seeing eddie howe in an everton trackie telling us how great klopp is after we get spanked 5 nil, massive swerve to the little kissarse, modern day ian holloway

He`d start crying the first time he got any stick off the fans, plus he looks like a bad wrongun, that hangs around the edge of the dance floor in some sad club in Sint Ellens..

As a Burnley fan, I feel qualified to comment......Howe is TEN times better than Dyche....Everton should go for Howe and not touch SD with a bargepole.;) SD still learning the ropes: eg likely first Euro campaign.

Regarding Howe...it does help if you have a Russian billionaire "buying" promotions and flouting Financial Fair play rules. It wasn't a "fairytale" rags-to-riches story like the "Red Top" media love to portray.
