It won't happen , but if Moshiri is truthful when he infers that money is no object, he should hitch up his skirts tonight and give the Russians whatever it takes to get Fonseca. Then he should sack our current management team and Walsh with immediate effect and appoint a top quality DoF.

My point is he could do a job for us in the PL and he would do a proper job.
He would give us an identity, a style of play and a system that players understand.
We had Martinez who had a philosophy and a style. Unfortunately his system had a major flaw (the requirement to defend).
Then came Koeman who sadly didn’t have a clue at all and left the day to day running of training to his imbecilic brother.
So whoever comes in has their work cut out, but Fonseca is the one who can bring order from the chaos.

He has a defined style of play:
Goalkeeper (always a good start)
The full backs provide the width and need to be able to get up and down the pitch
Two centre backs whose main job is to defend
Two high energy central midfielders whose main job is to take the ball off the centre backs and get the ball to the players higher up the pitch.
Two attacking midfielders whose job is to create "magic" - they are expected to dribble, play through balls, do the unexpected
One withdrawn attacker who plays box to box making a midfield 3 when defending and arriving late into the box to score
One out and out striker
I find it hard to fit our current players into any system but at least this would be something to work towards!

Lot of posters on here think Fonseca and Tuchel are top class managers and nothing wrong with that IMO. At some stage we need to change our attitude as a club...if you don't we will stagnate further. You don't ask...you don't get.
