It was reported that we went for him but they wouldnt let him go due to being in CL.
Its reported that hes very interested in coming to the PL.
We need to tie this up asap and get it him in well in time, firstly to assess the playing squad and to quickly identify any transfer targets And get them signed up.

Personally I still think theres a 50/50 chance the Axis of Doom will still be in place next season sadly.

We could finish this season like a train, we wont, but we could, if we get 7th and Europa, I think Sam will sadly be retained and it will be a terrible decision.

What's the excitement about this guy? Genuine question - I know he manages Shakhtar Donetsk but very little of him or his achievements.

Part of the reason I ask is that it crosses my mind that the Ukrainian league is not exactly top notch. If we signed a player from that league I expect the reaction would be not dissimilar to a lot of views expressed about Tosun coming from the Turkish league. So back to my question, what's this chap done to excite so much?
