How much did they spend compared to us in the Summer? Even the likes have Watford have spent more than they have. I don't get why people think they spend a lot, most seasons they make a profit.

they just spent 60 million Euros on Aubameyang, on top of spending 50 million for Lacazette. They might not spend like City do, or like Man Utd or Chelsea do, but they seem to pay some big fees for some players at times, they pay a lot for Xhaka and Mustafi as well. They have given an unbelievable contract to Özil too, and I am sure Auba is on a big contract too. They seem to have money, just maybe not as wild with it as some teams

I believe you may have heard the drums rumbling vigorously C as you said this is how it will start to play out today and as mentioned, stories are starting to get planted left right and centre. Hunter yesterday, Bascombe today, Joyce a couple of weeks ago was questioning Walsh as were the Echo ( who seem to have their big toes toenail in the door )
