I take no credit for knowing my industry Mac.

There is still plenty of noise to be made and music to be played between now and West Ham.

They way I look at it C is between the next game and the last game ( 10 games ) this beaut will be torpedoed back to Dubai for his retirement and regardless if he sets the team up or not what will happen is the likes of Pickford, Coleman, Rooney, Davies, Gueye and Walcott will drag us through to approx the 6-8 points required. Even Baines and Jags would get stuck in.

A shambles of an appointment and the sooner we get the points needed the sooner we can bin this tit off once and for all.

A disgraceful decision to hire him in the first place

I wouldn't be shocked to see him go before the end of the season with Unsworth stepping back in to guide them through Southampton and then West Ham.

Not saying that will happen but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.

The stewardship of our fine club will then fall into the hands of Fonseca or Silva and we can absolve ourselves of this whole period.

I still believe it will be Silva C

Wouldn't go that far. At the point he signed the contract we had jist cone off the back of shipping four at Southampton and were 2 points off the bottom 3. We were looking to make sure we didn't go down.

The appointment has been more or less what we should have expected - we'll stay up but we won't enjoy any of it, but we'll stay up and that's all the board cared about at that point (and considering the context of the mess we seemed to be spiralling into, it's hard to suggest this was an unreasonable decision)

Any wait til the whole thing is over though

It'll be kind of hilarious if we pull off hiring Fonseca and leave our recruitment in the absolute state that it's in. Like buying a Ferrari and filling it with mozzarella instead of petrol.
