Grew up 10 minutes from Goodison.

Got in, when the opened the gates at three-quarter time.

Alot of locals did that, as the paying fans left ten minutes early to get the bus etc ......car parking was also mi!es away ......? beat the traffic build up etc so it rarely over crowded,....,.towards the end of a home game in my day the blues usually had the game well won .'......

Takes me back that. We bunked the ferry or train, then bunked in for the last 10 minutes. Sometimes found a programme always.with team changes meticulously entered and minus badly torn off token. Free afternoon but in those days, needs must.
