Jags shouldn't be anywhere near the first team on recent performances. Holgate didn't put a foot wrong and has barely been seen the last 6 weeks. Coleman has been poor for the last 18 months you can argue that holgate should be in the team for either of them at present.

oviedo was really good today i thought, probably helped that he had no defending to do whatsoever, but was a good bundle of energy all game and his forward passing was great.

Jagielka was the only man not keeping it on the floor though, no idea what he was doing out there today.

Did well going forward , just don't trust him to defend for the full game.

He is low on confidence. Yesteardy he was indecisive, inaccurate and gave off bad body language.

Whether it was those two duff penalties at City or the injury, I agree that he should be given some bench time.

Funes Mori at least represents a threat when he goes up for corners and deserves a chance to nail a regular spot..

Coward maybe unfair. But loser sums him up. Bad errors at most high pressure/high expectation points of his career. A career where he has won nothing and achieved little. He's no captain any rate.

Koeman arriving was the perfect time to strip him off the armband and arguably look to get him out of the starting eleven. I think it's disgraceful that he's still an automatic pick. One of our worst ever captains and far past his best in terms of ability. Mori is right to want out of he's being held back so that Jagielka can continue to steal a place in the team.

Either drop him due to poor form or revert to a back three to essentially provide him with more cover and hope he can play himself into good form.

I really like Jagielka but the last two games he's been embarrassing.

Yes.

Have a 3 from 3 record in penno shootouts and was a nasty death bowler for my club 2s lad. Passed my driving test first time too.
