Transfer Rumour Philippe Coutinho

I've read some rubbish on here.

Do you think he was on some type of magic drug like in the film limitless??

I think they all were. Would explain how a team that was 4th in the league suddenly destroyed everyone for 2 and a half seasons then plummeted like an absolute stone. Never seen so many players all gain form and then lose form at exactly the same time.

Only way this signing would make sense from a tactical POV is if we could field 12 players

Keeper
New RB Godfrey Mina Digne
Allan Doucs
New RW James Cout Richarlison
DCL
European conference league wouldn’t know what’s hit it

According to a source close to the club, of 35 players 22 are asthmatic – 63% of the squad, over five times higher than the 12% UK average. With so many sickly players and COVID-19 threatening these at risk players, it’s already dangerous. To keep the players at the max for an entire season, on numerous fronts, substances to enhance and support performance are needed.

The players have been flat out for two seasons and their bodies cannot take much more. When the joke shop of US Anti-Doping can explain how dangerous overuse of PEDs (legal) can be for the meatiest of heads, Jurgen, Pep and the wiseguys in Anfield know when to lift their foot off the pedal.

In concluding the academic article, I pointed out that no Liverpool players have failed tests. I am not alleging any wrongdoing on their part. Nor am I intimating that they’re all on the juice. I’ve simply studied the support systems, those involved and what’s needed to achieve what they have achieved.

It’s impossible to do three seasons in a row without players collapsing from cardiovascular issues or physical or mental collapse. So now is a good time to back them not winning the Premier League this season.

These magic PED,'s gave them form. Made them clinical in front of goal.

Yet, its only Liverpool players in the world who had access to these magic drugs.

It's far fetched to say the least.

They won because they have an excellent first eleven and got lucky with no injuries.

Unless, these magic drugs of yours stopped them from getting injuries and maybe also makes them immortal.

I doubt the figure is that high.

But, it will be high. Not just for Liverpool players, but all players in the premier league.

Before the last world cup all the England players went through various expensive testing for Asthma.

There’s loads of indicators you can point to that are not normal.

Most truly world class attacking players: Mbappe Neymar Messi Ronaldo Rooney Hazard etc. are known about when they are teenagers. At that level these are generational talents that stick out like an absolute sore thumb to the point that top European clubs give South American/French/bottom half prem teams eye watering fees without even hesitating to make sure they snap this talent up. They barely ever let a single one slip through the net.

Klopp arrived at Liverpool though and picked 4 attackers in Coutinho Firmino Salah and Mane, none of which had ever been anything remotely close to world class in their entire career upto their mid twenties. Salah had been passed round a few clubs, Firmino was playing Bundesliga mid table, and poorly under Rodgers, Mane was playing decently for Southampton. Coutinho was unwanted by Inter and had been ok under Rodgers but nothing special.

All 4 of them then became, at exactly the same time, 4 world class attacking players, with Salah being so good some were saying he was better than Messi. Good enough for Barca to put 130 mill for Coutinho. Mane was being touted for the ballon dor. Coutinho and Firminho struggled to make the Brazil squad and were now suddenly their two biggest stars even playing better than Neymar.

Now all of them have declined at exactly the same time to the point where Coutinho couldn’t get a game for Barcelona or Bayern, Mane and Firminho look ready for the scrap heap, and although Salah is still scoring no one is even mentioning him as one of the best in the world anymore.

So either Liverpool got incredibly lucky and every other top side in Europe somehow missed out on 4 generational world class talents who all just coincidentally happened to bloom in their mid twenties and all at the same time just as Liverpool were fortunate to have all of them......or something else was going on.

That’s just the forwards as well.

Im sure someone can explain how Milner went from not making City’s bench and being compete pap under Rodgers to being one of the best in the prem over night.

Im sure there’ll be an equally good explanation for how Alexander Arnold hadn’t even been heard of in Liverpool’s academy, then became the best right back in the world within 6 months, and now has also mysteriously declined to the point where he’s not even good enough for a bang average international side and can’t defend.

Not that I think they’re on some miracle juice, you could argue if they were, being a lot fitter than other people with their play style is certainly an advantage.

Nah I think City dope as well. Guardiola has previous for it. The two of them have just annihilated records that stood for years like it was nothing. Two brilliant seasons for City followed by a poor season. Two brilliant seasons for Liverpool followed by a poor season. Coincidentally smack in line with alleged doping cycles.

Doping cycles wouldn't be that long. A few months at a time then off.

So what drugs are they doping on?

EPO would be the endurance option, but what improves them to play as a team and well together??

At the top level of the game all the teams play well together. It’s about consistency and fine margins though isn’t it. There’s the odd game Coleman looks great for us, sharp and quick, then the next three he’s hopeless, same with Davies. Imagine though they were at that level every game. That would make a huge difference to us and they’re pretty poor players. Imagine we had the best version of Richarlison every game, rather than once every seven. It’s the difference between a shot being blocked or being fired on goal, getting there in time to draw a pen, winning a 50:50 or losing it. A slight edge all over the pitch every game can make a huge difference. Then of course confidence comes when you know you have a physical edge, the confidence to always make runs, the confidence to try stuff knowing you can recover if you lose it. That all leads to playing better.

Wasn’t very good at Inter, wasn’t very good at Liverpool under Rodgers, went into god mode for 18 months under Klopp as he inhaled those sweet sweet PEDs along with everyone else (remember when Robertson was the best left back in the world and Milner was outrunning Kante), as soon as he stopped the special juice he reverted back to being rubbish at Barcelona and Bayern.

No thanks. James always has been a league above him.
Let's be fair now. James has always been leagues above all but a handful of players worldwide. If that is the standard we are setting ourselves, I look forward to us signing Messi and Ronaldo, and very few others, this summer. Perhaps Luis Figo could come out of retirement for Carlo.

Amazing that none of the goalkeepers have asthma so the 60%+ figure would actually be higher if applied to outfield players only.

Doping cycles wouldn't be that long. A few months at a time then off.

Vary few players in football ever fail dope tests. It’s often struck me as odd.

I remember Ronaldinho moving to Madrid, then bulked up and looked like He Man six months later.

In a game where extra stamina and being sble to run like crazy fo 90 mins is very beneficial, it seems to me that using a little help is likely to be more widespread.

I think I read somewhere that the levels of testing in football are relatively low. If true, that would help explain things.
