Pienaar to return?

"I wouldn't really want to let Steven go if I can help it!?!?"

Translation... I want top dollar for him

If they sign hoilett he'll be out the door faster than you can say " god is great"

I would take him back for 5m, as he offers great off the ball movement and despite not being very profilic, we really miss him (similar situation to Cazorla and Villarreal - playing an unorthodox winger role, not scoring and assisting much, but his presence and movement made whole team tick). And I think Baines misses him as well. But under any circumstances we should pay anyone 75k per week, as there is way too much for club in financial situation like we are. Not sure what exactly are Jagielka/Baines/Fellaini making, but it should be a limit. Plus, we need to get rid of Saha and Heitinga (unless Moyes will make him a permanent starter) because of their salaries.

Harry says Pienaar didn't give the ball away, is that Harry being sarcastic?
He gives ball away because in first place he positiones himself to receive a ball and he tries to do something positive with it (like trying to dribble or playing 1-2 and attack free space), something different than hoof/passing backward/passing sideway offered by majority of our players and encouraged by Moyes.

Sometimes you do have to pay top wack for a players services. And 5M would not be too bad to bring him back.

Problem is I don't think were in the possistion that we can afford to pay 5M for him with the other areas that need addressing!

Tbh I don't care if he left us. He apparently wants to come back so that'll do me. I'm not going to be picky. If he really wants to come back he should accept a pay cut. If he doesn't then, yes, 75k is too much. I think we should put £3m on the table though because of the potential for him to help stop the rot here. We already know him and Baines are a top 5 left side partnership so there's less risk involved than other possible transfers, I believe.

There is no way in hell we buy him back for more than we sold him for. No way. And I hope the club doesn't do it.

he aint coming back and im not too pushed about it if he doesnt lets move on ...........interesting in what ihe said though in an interview about near the end he wasnt really pushing himself and trying to be as good as he can ...........

because i ve always felt stuff like that is still happening even now at everton ( i e saha) not playing well but still gets a game because he knows its gonna take an awful lot for DM put himself out on a limb and go for a less exp player

shame as the game is as much about form as it is experience

It will be deadline day if anything happens with pienaar.

A few commenting on arry saying he's staying but if you listen to the difference to his comments on pienaar which are half hearted " I don't wanna let him go really" as apposed to Defoe " he's not going anywhere he's got a contract, is important and is staying"
It's clear pienaar will be allowed to move at the right money.

Hope we can sort something
