No chance Davies is part of a deal imo - Delph you could argue with him going missing but even then I doubt it.
I don’t actually believe it either but I simply cannot get my head around how poor he has been playing. The effort just doesn’t seem there. TD is playing for his boyhood club, a world renowned manager and his future.. yet looks absolutely not bothered about making an impact or impression.

Why not
I can’t believe Southampton would want our 31 yr old injury prone players.

The only thinking behind it for me is that their owners dont really spend much and with this lad leaving for a reduced fee maybe they want reassurance of a replacement included so no pressure to have to spend more on a replacement?

Just thinking out loud really - if negotiations are further along than we think maybe it explains Delph's mysterious "injury" thats kept him out since the restart.

how about Liverpool lad.

There is nothing in this for Southampton except to rinse us for a player in the last year of his contract.

Once again, if Ancelotti wants him then fair enough, but it has to be on a value for money basis.

Sadly there isn't much to choose between us and Soton so I wouldn't go near our cast-offs if I was them, and I don't think they will either.

Delph being injured is never a mystery mate lol

I've just read through a 12 page post on a Southampton forum, regarding Hojberg, and it wasn't very inspiring. From late 2018, theyve been hoping someone is stupid enough to buy him. They really can't believe the hype surrounding him? In fairness, they're saying he's got a great engine, rarely injured, very passionate and a high level of interceptions.... But, his passing is terrible. Gives it away constantly, poor composure, has one good game in five. They won't miss him much at all and will be easily replaced. They have said Schneiderlin is a much better player too ffs. Making me hope Tottenham win this one

Oh and they seem to think it could be JJK could be part of the player swap deal as they're desperate for a right back

Superb stuff, I didn’t need them to tell me this though.

Some fairly knowledgable posters on here hadn’t heard of him until we was linked or never noticed him.

He’s garbage and if this is Brands solution he really hasn’t got anything down for him.

Hope they badly want that Peters and Spurs storm in and take him.

You all realise he’s bang average don’t you?
We're currently in a position where somebody able to run and tackle is a lot more than what we've currently got. £14m, yes. £30m, no. The former would be a very good price for a combative midfielder - something we absolutely lack in our midfield.
