So he missed one game the whole season around Christmas and you're takeaway is that he can't be relied upon because he abandoned his team in a relegation fight. Ok mate.
Now you're downlpaying.

All my points are correct and there to see, he was dropped and they were fighting a relegation.

He's a good healthy player who was dropped from the bench, not just the team, that indicates Southampton were serious about this and where prepared to risk points in a relegation battle. This indicates he has an attitude.

Ok mate.

Mate you've moved the goalposts an unbelievable amount from your first post. If you feel smart because of it then congratulations but I'm just going to sum it up for you and anyone else questioning his attitude because he's taken the intelligent step of not signing an extension at a club he doesn't want to get stuck at by saying that you have no actual proof and are trying to read tea leaves that aren't actually there.

how has he been lately?
Looked a prospect when he first played

I don't rate him at all but a fair few of my mates think he's a good player and is currently playing in a posistion that is not he's natural posistion and they think I'm being harsh on him. I think he's a lightweight who doesn't really offer much at all but he is someone who has come through the ranks and is a good squad player to have but I think a player bought for he's posistion (and also Right Back) is the first signing/s we should urgently make.
Whether this Southampton bloke is the answer, I really don't know as I know nothing about him.
