Nothing to gain from it, but he does it anyway. There's only one word for that: psychopathic.

He can't get away with this much longer, I'll be very surprised if he doesn't disgrace himself and his country at the WC. If that does happen, then the FA have nobody to blame but themselves considering their repeated and frankly insane choice not to offer any kind of punishment for his increasingly regular offences.

What i hate about top England players is, they can pretty much do as they want coming up to a major tournament. The authorities are scared to punish them, because they want the England team to succeed so badly.

If Portsmouth were to report it as an assault to the police, wouldn't they have to arrest him?

I believe anyone here could report it as an assault, and he would have to be arrested wouldn't he?

It's a waste of time. They wont charge him coming up to a world cup. Not a chance in hell of that happening.

Adman Grunt [Poor language removed] out cos he doesn't care about pompy anymore, which is understandable, and did a wenger saying he never saw it...left it at that.

If that were martin oneil and it happened to one of his villa players....Christ he'd be like a rabid dog trying to get gbh done.
 
I'd never defend that individual, but that encounter was minimal, especially considering Brown looks over his shoulder and then moves across to block his run, he knew he was obstructing. Shearer used to whack people, Ferguson used to whack people, and we all rightly called Gallas a piece of scum for that red card for Beattie. End of the day it was hardly a Pedro Mendez sparko moment.
Still dislike and laugh at him for the situation with that kid that isn't his situation. P!ss poor haircut too.
