Weird. Just checked inbox and had an email from a Liverpool mate who said, to copy and paste:

I'm going to reply back "It was Chelsea".

And before you open your mouth remember we played ******* and you had that same with their defender you nob

Lost me there:lol:

****** stinks to me.

You have to question the refs judgment big time. Has he just seen n off the ball, violent incident, given a foul for it and not done anything about it ie taken action according to the rule book he's supposedly getting paid to uphold?

If so, then why havent the FA gone..."hold on a minute. If he thinks that incident was handled well then he's got another thing coming" and investigated him and the incident?

But no, itll be forgotten about next week. Corrupt set of [Poor language removed].

As for GBH. What a shithouse. What an absolute ******** shithouse of a player who'd snidely hit a player in the back of the head while he wasnt looking, when his team were 3-1 up against a team bottom of the league.

If ya gonna do it, do it properly and not like a shithouse.

Shithouse...

No. Class. Just like their fans. But its expected really after the DJ incident wasnt it?

Didnt Huth get a 5match ban for less than that? Turner for Sunderland get a straight red for actually going for the ball and elbowing Barry in the face unintentionally?

Atwell will be quietly demoted. Actually, my overall view on the FA with Gerrard in the last week or so when they failed to act twice is that Liverpool are an irrelevancy to anything and therefore it isn't that big a deal. If they were in the title race (fantasy, i know) United and Chelsea would be bringing major pressure to bear behind the scenes to get the **** done. Liverpool are a mess and they've let it go. Just a thought.

He won't get away with anything like that at o.t. and I bet S.A.F. will mention that he should be serving a ban.

Ushoited are due giving them a drubbing and I hope it's on it's way.

Liverpool Daily Post.co.uk - Liverpool FC - Liverpool FC News - Liverpool 4 Portsmouth 1: Alberto Aquilani stars as Liverpool crush Portsmouth

******* rags. Neither of those Echo or Daily Post match reports even mention the Gerrard assault. Everyone else saw this:

FCK ME!!!

I never saw that till today. AND HE GOT AWAY WITH THAT???? AGAIN!!!!
:blink::o

"No retrospective action to be taken".

St Stevie of Huyton gets away with cheating AGAIN. (n)

I wouldn't mind its a forearm smash. In the old-smash the DJ style.

Shocking that yet again that **** gets away with it.

I deleted the name of the team on the off chance that there would be any of their players on here. Remote possibility like but still.

I had a tangle with their centre half but it wasn't quite as like that Gerrard one, just my mate over reacting as clearly knows his team's captain and all round hero is an absolute tit.

That's what I thought too. United will be all over the ref every time GBH goes near one of them. He'll have to stand still for 90 minutes to avoid punishment.

I'm sure SKY 3D would have picked it up :P:D

Its an absolute joke, he definitely knew what he was doing there and definitely went to elbow him deliberately in the head.

It was only last week this player was sticking - literally two fingers up to the ref.

He did it to the whole world last night yet again.

Lets just face it Steven Gerrard of Huyton is above the law. (n)

Shocking.

And the standard of journalism in the Echo and Daily Post needs to drastically improve, considering neither newspaper even mentioned it.

Disgraceful really.

Do you think Greg O'Keefe of Mark O'Brien would have missed out the details from an Everton game, they'd have used abit of diplomatic language/journalistic licence to describe it, but certainly not IGNORED or redacted the entire incident.

Dominic King you tosser. If I ever see him I'm going to tell him as well.

Its like a political agenda. No bad stories can be published involving Liverpool.

****s!

I just think the FA have dropped a bollock in terms of trying to portray this zero tolerance on violent conduct and respecting the ref etc.

This has just been brushed under the carpet like he aint done anything wrong.
