It's happened previously with certain players not having new managers or there methods - look at Revies old boys club (Brenner/Giles etc) at Leeds with Clough, getting him the bullet after no time in the job and the United team when dour Davey took over there.
Thing is though, those players were really at the top of the game, winning the league etc - they had earned the (misplaced) right to oppose Clough and Davey.
These spurs flops have got some brass neck to revolt before Conte even got in there, after the garbage they have put up last season, and if the Everton squad had the stones to try this during our manager search, is be apoplectic -
