He might actually have been useful as wingback in the games Frank set up with three at the back. So often his that system was pointless because he had Myko and Coleman at wingback with no attacking threat.

You’d hope so. If, big if, we’re still in the prem, I’m not sure Dyche would play him - could imagine him growling something in a press conference like “people forget he’s still a young lad, he’s not premier league proven”…

Manager’s like Dyche and Moyes think centre back is the hardest position to give a young player a chance at - too risk averse.
