There should be have been a buy clause built in. Even at £10m because we aren't gonna sell him for more than that anyway even off the back of a semi decent season with Brentford.

I would say the opposite is true a good season at Brentford will make him worth a lot more than he was worth when we loaned him out.

Good start for Elijah Campbell for Fleetwood in League 1. He played 90 minutes on the left of a back 3 as they beat Port Vale 3-0 at home. Fleetwood are 2nd bottom and 8 points adrift of safety.
Chesterfield now 19 points clear at the top of the National League. Harry Tyrer played the whole match as they beat Eastleigh 3-1 away.
A 3-1 win also for Zan-Luk Leban's Farsley at home to Bishop's Stortford. Farsley remain 14th.
Sean McAllister was introduced on 56 minutes for Duncan Ferguson's Inverness with his side already losing 1-0 at home to Queen's Park. It finished that way. Inverness are 7th in the Championship which is only 1 point above the drop zone.

Fleetwood's resurgence since Elijah Campbell joined them continues. 90 minutes and a second clean sheet in a 2-0 win away to Bristol Rovers. They climb a place and are now 6 points from safety in League One.

Great start from Campbell. Straight into the side which is always the hardest thing and 2 wins on the bounce which gets everyone onside.
Eli Campbell’s Fleetwood are now a “ must check” whenever they are playing. I’d given up on them ( for relegation) when he joined but he’s certainly stirred something up. I’m not sure it’s all down to Eli , but it’s a great story!
