6 + 2 Point Deductions

We've had a net spend of £38.3million over the last 5 years and sold close to £300mill worth of players.

There's very good evidence to say over that period we've been frugal and curbed anything excessive.

Stadium, wages, interest payments, and not putting things in the right boxes on the accounts is what's been looked at

But we haven't been frugal have we though. We have for them 5 years been the club with the highest wages to turnover ratio in the league.

Net spend means nothing if we are starting each year at massive loss.

Interestingly on oddschecker.com both Everton and Forest are no longer listed in the PL relegation odds. I suppose the bookies are awaiting developments

We have been super frugal but it’s not enough. Interest cost that isn’t related to the stadium is no different to us spending on coffee in the canteen, or the phone bill, or player salaries. It’s astronomical and rose massively. Only recently will it have flatlined. We all heard how many thousands of pounds per day we were paying in interest.

Mosh turning off the interest free taps and using commercial loans to fund day to day operations (not stadium) will have put a dent in this years PSR calc to the tune of tens of millions.

1. What’s all this ‘agenda’ stuff? Why would the Premier League want Everton relegated? Do people who peddle this rubbish truly think corruption and collusion of this type is happening? For what reason? Who would gain out of it, and in what way would it be worth actual imprisonment of key people involved + the global scandal that would engulf the Premier League, damaging it beyond repair (thrown out of Europe, litigation at every level etc)?

2. Everton won’t be on the hook for more investigations, because that would look absolutely ridiculous in the media. Everyone in the game has said how ludicrous the 10 point deduction was, how could the PL possibly reconcile that with the prospect of outright ridicule and immediate clamour and justification for the independent oversight that the PL is so scared of?
i think they want to prove to the government they don’t need independent regulation, so their slamming everton as hard as they can no matter what the consequences and now theyv gone to far to turn back back without looking ridiculous

All of whom have deserted like the rats they are. A year since headlock gate too.

The best CEO in the business too.
It would appear that her appointment was that of an unqualified employee who wouldn't rock the boat, wouldn't ask awkward questions of the owner and chairman, and would agree to be the named victim of a phantom assault.
