I've got quite a history of lamenting Kenwright when warranted, but I do feel that it's important to have grounding at the beginning of the project.

As for the Barkley rumors, they're rumors. Koeman has past-history of being open with the media when he feels his job is being disrespected - and he's said nothing.

More and more it seems that Moshiri is here for the stadium first and has put in a few people to do the other stuff...Leaving BPB, in charge of the 'Footy' side.
Morishi has made pro Bill noises in relation to Football and Everton before now, so not a big surprise...he's also put Elstone on the Board - Where he can see him? and where his Russian Hitman can keep an eye on him?

Back when he joined us and transfer fees were relatively 'sane' we though we were in with a chance.
What we have is not a false dawn, Oh aye, it'll get light soon enough, but when it does get light it'll still be a bit cloudy, not the endless summer we, or most of us, initially thought we'd have.
Not the 4 proper players @25M, (when 25M could buy you something decent/top4-ish)
Anyway, them's the breaks.

So The Mosh; Hopefully the people and practices he strives to put in place Improve us and help limit/ circumvent any potential BPB excesses. So what's not to like.
He builds us a new ground - which we needed - we get a win, He makes money, everybody's happy...or maybe not, well maybe you should be...not scooped the lotto including the powerball happy obvs. But the next prize down, still a nice little earner none the less

Answer the question; Given where we were and how we were shaping, do you really want to go back to Mar. 2016? Really?
Do you really, really, wish you'd never heard the Name...and you'll never darken the doors of the new stadium?

Nah, didn't think so, you'll be in there on day 1 like I will, like hopefully 60,000ish of us will be. If BPB is there basking in Morishi's reflected glory, so what.
We'll all know who built it.

As to The Chairman - nobody is Chairman forever, all things pass.

Poor old Bill. New ground on the horizon, he new investment, new era. Transfer window not yet open, and people are blaming Bill for things not happening quick enough. What more has he got to do? What a ridiculous thread, shall we start another 'Kenwright out'? Why are we soooo impatient. Get a grip.

Erm, no. It's been too long. You can see his M.O. all over our behaviour, moreso the permatanned knobend. I've been wanting shut of both for a very long time, patience is very, very thin.

Unfortunately, if we ever move to a new stadium on the docks. Mr. Kenwright will take centre stage on the opening, so he's here for a good few years yet.
