People saying they'd be disappointed with 7th seem to forget we've got Man City, Man U, Spurs, The RS, Arsenal and Chelsea in front of us (most likely).

How on earth do you expect us to finish above them with our current squad?

Deluded.

I personally would take 7th if offered currently, as long as it came with a Europa place.

But theres a very slim chance we can do some good work in the Winter window, if we can get a few key players, a proper actual backup to Rom and Ross and maybe a more creative CM to complement the players we already have in the middle for 3. If we can do that, we could make a move on any of the top 6 who dont hit the heights they should.

Agreed. I just find it hard to believe that some people expect us to finish above any of those I mentioned. We can do it, but it shouldn't be expected.

We are playing catch up, not just with the top 6, but with the rest of the league, no marks like West Ham, Southampton, even freaking Stoke have finished above us the last 2 seasons, but ok, we have a proper manager now, but sadly we have key players who are vital to how we play, Rom and Ross are the gatekeepers to our season and currently neither are hitting the heights needed.

We picked up some good results at the start, which gave us all a boost, of course we have a squad good enough to beat Bournemouth, Norwich and Palace, but our key players arent performing and we sadly have no other viable options, so we struggled.

We just need to limp to Jan and hope that we task actual people who know how to sign a player this time round.

The scary thing is wondering where we'd be if Martinez was still in charge and Moshiri hadn't taken over, as no way would we would have been able to afford the ridiculous £10m pay off.
