Also it's maybe interesting to note what 'resting' means here.

If you'd have said back in say November it would have been resting Deulofeu, Stones and Kone (lol) but now it might mean resting Lennon, Mori and Cleverley.

We have options that don't make us weaker.

If we rest 5/6 players and get snotted 3-0 then that'll do bugger all for confidence within the squad.

The derby is the biggest league game of the season, you should always play to win it with your strongest side. Rest players on the weekend before IF you absolutely have to.

Thing is though they could both get injured on Saturday and be out for the rest of the season.

We always get beat anyway and I would fume if we lost our key players plus this is at Anfield and their players are dirty. Lukaku would get kicked to death by their crap players like Henderson and etc.

I want this fa cup. We could play naisse and besic and rest Barkley and lukaku.

The derby is the biggest game because its first. The squad is big enough and the players can play the games I think Wel be the Sunday to.

I reckon some would say no Derby is meaningless but in real terms our league season has been over for ages.

The thing is, no one knows what impact resting the players would have. It doesn't guarantee you a result at the weekend.

It's a couple of big games over the course of a few days. Try and win both with your best team.

Resting players fpr the derby killed Moyes after we fannied up the following game. PLayers should be able to play 2 games in a week. Rest them round these games if necessary.
