He’s won the cup 3 times in 4 years and qualifies for the champs league every year bar one but he’s not good enough for Everton.

Give me Preston’s manager, the bloke who relegated Wigan or the bloke from Southampton.

Wake up ffs.

100% this who do the no voters want out of curiosity?

Pep? Mourinho? Ancelotti? Allegri? Simeone?

Or Fonesca? Howe? Silva? Dyche? Alladyce?

If its the former sound if its the latter you're idiots.

Probably been said quite a lot already but Wenger 10-15 years definitely but not sure how much he's got left in him now. Last few years at Arsenal seem to have taken their toll and he's lost he way a bit. DOF or part of the youth development would be ideal but not sure he's interested in that and certainly not at Everton.

Would represent a more safe option than a Fonseca or a Silva.
You know what you're getting with Wenger and his name still holds some clout in world football.

Whilst I'd prefer a young, hungry manager to come in and build a young and exciting Everton squad, I can't say I'd be disappointed with Wenger!

A oui from moi, with a couple of caveats of course.

Wenger can build it, and Arteta can take the reins as wenger goes up stairs..

I don't know if anybody's mentioned this but Wenger has always been extremely resistant to working with a DoF.
In fact one the reasons behind his decision to quit is believed to be the fact that Arsenal have installed a whole team of them, under various titles.
Since we appear about to appoint Marcel Brands it seems to me this story has no legs whatsoever.
Sorry.

Arsenal are an established top 6 club, they were an established top 6 club prior to him taking over.

Im taking nothing away from what hes achieved at all, hes done a wonderful job at Arsenal, but they werent the basket case that we are.

Over the years hes been a very, very good coach, but the last few years he hasnt really hit the heights expected of a team like Arsenal, would he come to Everton and find his spark again? Who knows, his name demands respect, so ive no doubt he wouldnt be the worst choice, but what if things go wrong? What if the fans got on his back? I honestly see it all going badly wrong.

In short Wenger is a superb coach and manager, but the fella is in the twilight of his career, I would prefer a younger coach, but I doubt we could attract a better manager than Wenger, at all.
