You have to look at what he could do for us in the short term. He could install a style of play, install a winning mentality and lay the groundwork for the future providing direction.

I’d rather have mr potato head than FS but I think Wenger isn’t what Everton need.
I would say the opposite, sage.
He sounds to me like a man who feels he has been mistreated and such men possess the fight to prove their mistreaters wrong
I'd have him if Brands jibs us off as DOF with Arteta as is protege manager.
Wenger would be an improvement, but I’d like to peruse the other options.

I think he is probably yesterday’s man , I’d absolutely have major concerns but I’d also consider him a huge step up and take him hoping it could be a new challenge for him and a chance to prove people wrong .
I’m not sure if things are changing too much for him and it does concern me it’s a bit of the equivalent of a Rooney type signing but I would take him .

It'll never happen. He'll find a much easier job were he's guaranteed champions league and a trophy every season. Why would he be interested in joining our circus of a club?
Would I have him here? Absolutely. He might be past his best, but even now at this stage of his career he's a million times better then any of the other clowns I've seen suggested so far.

On the face of it he is yesterday’s man but he has won the F.A. Cup three times in the past four years and always qualifies for either the CL or EL.
And this club badly needs to be winning silverware again and becoming regulars in Europe.
Even this season he reached the League Cup Final and the semi finals of the Europa League plus the 6th spot is secure.
And this is a bad season by his standards
And his teams are a joy to behold when they get the bit between the teeth.
He might be just the type of short term appointment we need to kick start the Moshiri era.....and maybe his arrival will finally get Brands over the line as I am sure working with Arsene would be a dream for any aspiring DOF.
