I’d actually prefer him over Howe and Silva

Yeah I'd prefer him to Howe and possibly silva as he does know how to win. I think he's lost it ... But he's still managed to get his sorry squad of weaklings to win 3 fa cups in 4. It could be a very good stop gap option but I think now is our time to pick up a really good young manager as there's so many top managers going to be available.

That’s fair enough.

However I’d still take him over Howe and Silva.
I’d be happy with Wenger on a 2,3 year deal, under a good DoF, as the man to get us playing football again.

Ideally, I want a manager who is capable of leading us for at least 5 years. But maybe that’s becoming an old-fashioned view.

Imagine saying no to Wenger when we've had Koeman/Martinez/Unsworth and being linked to Fonseca (Could be good or the next Frank De Boer)Silva/Dyche and having Fat Sam.

Madness.

Like the poll being 50/50 I am undecided but my gut says NON , ?

IMO at Arsenal he was under pressure for a lengthy period , supporters went against him seems he couldnt get the best out of a high quality squad of players he had at his disposal

But their fans are spoilt brats.

If he put a tenth of the effort he put into Arsenal into us he would transform the club entirely.

Both on the pitch for the 1st team, off the pitch and for the academy.

I wouldn't be strictly against it if it was for a couple of seasons.. maybe. If anything he's a name that could instil some valuable experience and give the younger players a boost. Maybe provide a solid platform going forward.

Generally though I agree with the consensus that, ultimately, we need to go young, progressive & ambitious if we ever want to see long term success here again.

Nope. The Arsenal team has been crying out for a solid defence and a decent holding midfielder for years and he fails to address those issues season after season, in the same way it took him an age to address the Goalkeeping issue.

No doubt he's been a top manager but not for me anymore.
This .....

He has failed to address obvious flaws for years, despite having the funds and the pulling power of arsenal to do so.

I want him as our manager for the sole reason that that would mean we would have to start an EvertonFanTV YouTube page, and have 3 or 4 complete mentals interviewed after each game arguing if he should be sacked or not. I nominate @davek to be our Claude, that's a given really, but I'm not sure who our DT, Ty or Troopz would be though.

We could only dream of having a manager get us to a point were he would be sacked for finishing 6th.

Our fans have some weird views. We made a dvd for finishing 7th.

Oui.
