POLL: Would you like David Moyes back as Everton manager?

If we could have got Moyes in in February till the end of the season and told him he could stay on a year if he won the cup i'd have gone with that. Now we should have quite a few options so no I don't want Moyes back. He was brilliant at dragging us up and giving us some respect back but he failed in taking us to the next level and I see no reason why he could do it now.

Good call this, at the time Roberto was done and dusted, we wouldnt of done anyworse with Moyes, not that I want him near the club but I would rather of had anyone at that stage.

0 trophies in 11 years.
Wins at top 4 clubs in 11 years - 0.

Move on.

True that, least Roberto got a win at Old Trafford.

The last 2 years of Bobby's reign were truly awful, however, in the first season we played and looked like we could win anywhere. Moyes never, ever did that. He was happy to take a 1-0 loss as long as we weren't embarrassed.

This Moyes for manager will gather more weight the longer we don't get a someone in place,it is a absolute joke that he is even in the frame for this job the man was disrespectful to us for 12 months while he was feathering his own nest at utd the chairman or somone needs to end this now.

I don't see it as the glory years but it's easily as good as it's been for us.

The years before him were abysmal, and since he's left we've started to slide back down the same path. I'd never want him back but he did very well here and there's no point denying otherwise.
Everyone accepts he did well but to have him back is pathetic, in the grand scheme of things he wasnt successful and never looked to be at any of his past 3 gigs. The same beauts were probably stomping their feet demanding we live by our motto the other week, now theyre happy to go back to mr plucky little everton

I don't think anyone would disagree that gave us a degree of respectability again, but he sought to lower our expectations and keep us in our place......it's time our fans and our team begin to roar again........No Moyes thanks........

We were 16th when he turned up, and always looking to qualify for Europe when he left. How is that lowering expectations? He drove them through the roof.

If you look at the poll on here then next to no one wants him back. Barring every single decent manager turning us down he won't get the job.

Hoofed it thigh the roof you mean 80 percent of his football was hoof ball won nothing, and explode the myth he was not given funds, the yak , Beattie, Simon Davis etc got some good buys, did a good initial Job crapped on us move on FGS!

As with any manager of Everton FC, we may have our own pro's and con's of each candidate but once they are officially manager I will do my best to support them as much as possible.
In terms of moyes himself I wouldn't have him in the top 3, De Boer, Pelligrini and Koeman would of been ahead of Moyes by a mile.
Appreciate everything he done for us before he acted a knob jockey regarding felly and bainesy.

It's never easy to win things when the teams you're competing with are blowing you out of the water with their finances?

The fact is, there's a very good chance the Moyes years will be better than anything the 5 years bring. Getting a team finishing in the European places won't be easy for any incoming manager.

It should be a little easier when you have 11 years to work with and mould your own squad. Thats something many other managers just dont get.

We had a better year in bobbys first, and considering the squad along with the money mosh is supposedly putting in, top 5-6 shouldnt be to difficult of the bat

And although he may not of had a high net spend, he had one of the top wage budgets outside of the top 4

I think he earned that opportunity by always showing signs of pushing the team forward. He benefited from the longevity of his reign and so did we.
