I can sense another Moysie 'We are happy with what we've got, we finished 6th last season we can do it again.'

Then we end up getting desperate in January and signing Matty Taylor and some Sheff Wednesday donkey....

Oh my head hurts.....

Signing Matty Taylor would make more sense then signing Manny in some weird train of thought,

I can sense 'oh something has gone wrong, Moyes out, board out, lynch Kenwright' by people who expect far too much far too quickly.

If any one can tell me why anyone at Goodison Park should be blamed for others not completing deals then I might listen. The board put money on the table, made the funds available and others [Poor language removed] on them, get real ffs

Again spot on. (y)

(getting worried ;) )

I don't blame the club especially. The stinking, ponderous FA and underhand tactics by unscupulous spanish/portuguese clubs perhaps.

I just suspect that we won't be making any other signings, hopefully the Yak won't have to prove himself at some DSS meeting; I heard once they made some woman with ME do exercises to prove she wasn't fit for work. Maybe they'll make the Yak take penalties to prove he can actually kick a ball.

So you do blame them partially? please explain

The board should not be held responsible if manny does not want to come. However, the board is responsible for delaying his deal until the last week of transfer window. We had all summer to finalise it and now it's gone we might not have enough time to find a replacement. Same goes for yak, he's debut should be against wigan, not bolton. Why are they only willing to splash out money so near to the date of voting? What does it suggest?

It suggests that we were trying hard to get the money in for David to spend, and they have done in good time before the transfer window closes. If we were bottom with no points then I would say yeah the team was not ready and desperately needed building up.

But, the fact is Moyes had his eleven, brought in some quality, let go some [Poor language removed]. Yakubu deal was forced because of the unforeseen injuries to Cahill and Vaughan.

For all we know negotiations may well have been going on all Summer, its not as simple as some clubs make out. Tevez took all summer to move to Man U, so were not the only club.

Well how can you blame them for this, it seems its the easy [Poor language removed] option. The boy was here, he was training with us, he told the chairmen he was going to sign.

He didn't sign because we were delaying for god's sake. He hasn't signed because something dodgy has gone on behind the scenes in Spain and Portugal.

We only make a bid for manny last week. Man UTD make a move for tevez one and a half month ago.... see the difference?

Excuse me but please explain how they delayed this deal in any way. What evidence do you have to support this statement, you don't because it is nonsense. EFC have waited and waited for this deal to go through but delays outside their domain have been used as excuses whilst Valencia negoitiated in the back ground. The same with Yakubu, how can we break the law if the Home Office (the government of the country) says he can't play then that is their fault, why do you take a snides opportunity to blame EFC.

The only thing our board is guilty of is acting honourably, they have done nothing else wrong and those of you who are experts in hindsight, get a bloody life.

Who said we only made the bid last week? I seem to remember Ian Ross announcing a few back that we had made a bid. Just because it only became public did not mean that it was made then.

You also have to think that the money was not available 6 weeks ago. Moyes said its changed here and if there is money to spend I am going to spend it.

It doesn't matter if we bid for Fernandes two months back or now, he's still [Poor language removed] us off.

The evident is so obvious, why do we have to wait until the last week of transfer window to put in a bid? I'm not complaining about home office delay or valencia coming in to hijack the bid. That's not even what I wanted to debate about. Does it mean that I have no life and just a nonsense just becuase my view differs from yours?
