Kevin Horlock was an important player for us. Helped bring us back from the brink in the 3rd Division - particularly the Play Off final where he scored the 1st goal, played his part in the 99/00 and 01/02 promotions and helped stabilise our season back in the Premier in 02-03. He's a good lad, down to earth, makes time for fans, good laugh.

I’d completely forgotten that, but the entire league programme was called off the same day I think. Last game to be played was earlier that week.

Think it kickstarted the whole football lockdown mate.

Just been on there for a look see. A few of the posts are about our lack of empathy for another club where there is a covid outbreak, and in fairness they have a point in that regard. It's something that should have been done, either as part of the official statement or separately. But a lot of it is just what you would expect from the residents of two cities, of close proximity that, basically, don't like each other. There's probably a few bad eggs on both sides fuelling it on social media too.

Weirdly I've just read one of your posts on Blue Moon

I don't agree that it was a loaded statement by the club and I'm pretty sure it was more aimed at the PL than it was at City, and our own fans of course. I'd ask you again to put yourselves in our shoes in this matter and I'm sure you'd feel the same way. Point taken about not showing empathy by the way. I intended to in my previous post but got sidetracked, but I pleased to see that one or two of my fellow blues have done so on here today, either with you or or other City fans that post on here.
